Physician Q & A
Why did you decide to become a physician?
My desire to help people and my interest in human anatomy were influential factors in my decision to become a physician. Orthopedics seemed to be a natural fit for me. I chose hand & upper extremity surgery as a specialty due to the challenge and satisfaction of alleviating pain and restoring function.
What are your clinical areas of interest?
My area of interest includes treatment of fractures, arthritis, overuse injuries and nerve compression of the upper extremity.
What is your philosophy of patient care?
I feel that explaining the anatomical problem to my patients provides them better insight & understanding to the non-operative and operative treatment options and allows them to participate in their care.
