Physician Q & A

Why did you decide to become a physician?

I choose medicine and a specialty in orthopedics because I have always found the biomechanics of the human body interesting.

What are your clinical areas of interest?

My fellowship trained specialties are arthroscopic procedures of the shoulder, hip, and knee. I also perform joint replacements of the hip and knee.

What is your philosophy of patient care?

I believe the communication in the physician-patient relationship is the key to the best outcome. I find that when my patient and I are on the same page, together we achieve the best results.

How do you spend your free time? (family, hobbies, interests, volunteer activities, etc.)

With two young children, most of my wife's and my time is spent having fun activities with them. Being born and raised here, I am a big Husker fan.

Provide an interesting anecdote about you.

I can solve a Rubik's Cube in under three minutes.
